Draconian is a major label group hailing from Sweden that was in need of a robust eCommerce solution and redesign on a platform that would be easy to manage and update, while delivering content fans wanted most in a way that respects privacy and focuses on UX —two things sorely missing in the wider music industry web presence.
As an album tie-in, it was important for this iteration of the site to reflect the design of the print media. A design system was established for both to keep fonts, hue ranges and iconography consistent.
The design itself is brand-driven and focused on visual impact, with an emphasis on large text and click zones to enhance mobile browsing. Built on WordPress, seamless integration with Bandsintown. Youtube and social networks are central for delivering multimedia experience and updated information.
